tutoring at goodnestone park gardens june 2018
This promises to be an enjoyable 2 day summer workshop for "Field Breaks" in Goodnestone's refurbished venue. The gardens will be in full bloom and it's timed to follow the new Florum exhibition and the best weeks for flower meadows. We'll be using ink and coloured pencil to create a profusion of native plants in their habitat and will have an assortment of specimens for reference and inspiration. Locally, chalk downs, dune areas and wild meadows are all full of flowers and can be used as a guide to combining particular species. We'll be looking at composition, how to achieve variety and interest, light, shade and distance.
Delicious Goodnestone lunches and cakes included!
