I now offer one-day workshops in ink and coloured pencil at the Golf Road Community Centre, Deal. These take place every three months, and follow the landscape as it changes with the seasons. With each topic, we concentrate on the techniques best suited to the theme - snow on branches, rocks and water etc., allowing most people to complete a small image in one day. Over time, students build up a repertoire of techniques and develop a very individual style. Techniques are easy to learn and you will receive plenty of guidance. Beginners are welcome as you can start with any topic. Workshops are all separate bookings, so opt in or out as you wish.

"Techniques for Trees"

This spring workshop will concentrate on trees, and how their texture and shape can be captured in ink and coloured pencil. There will be particular emphasis on varied mark-making in ink and you will be encouraged to develop the skills to work confidently.



Materials will be available to borrow, but do bring any artist-quality coloured pencils if you have them.
Specialist paper can be purchased on the day at 40 - 50p a sheet.
Teas, coffees, snacks and lunches are available from the café.

Cost: £40 for the day
